These five ways to increase your daily productivity will help you work smarter, not harder in your everyday life. If you want to achieve your goals without losing your sanity, it is crucial for you to think about your time intentionally. Remember: You have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyonce.
Use to-do lists. I like to make daily, weekly, and monthly to-do lists. Lists help you stay on track thus making you more productive.
KNOCK OUT YOUR MOST DIFFICULT OR URGENT TASKS FIRST
This will make the rest of your day a breeze. Knowing you got something really important done, makes it easier
for you to check off the rest of the tasks on your to-do list.
MAKE THINGS ENJOYABLE
Create a playlist for your workout or while you work or study to make it a little less painful.
DEFINE YOUR PRIORITIES
What is really important to you today? Family time? Work? Meditation? You time?
Pick your top five for the day. When you have a million things to do on your to-do list, it can be overwhelming. Keep in mind that you're only a human being.
* Focus on one thing at a time. As women, we are natural multi taskers, but if you want to do your best work, I strongly believe in putting other things on pause while you complete an important task.
* Close other tabs in your window.
* Put your phone on Do Not Disturb.
* Turn of the TV (play music instead)
Give yourself a time limit to complete a task, take a break, then turn your focus back to the task at hand or move on to the next.
Reward yourself when you've crossed off an important task on your list. And REALLY reward yourself when you've completed one of your ultimate goals.
